This concentration is designed for students who wish to focus on the academic study of spirituality as an emerging field within the theological academy.

Required Courses:

• Ascetical Theology 1
• 6 foundation courses,
  • 2 in scripture: Old Testament 1 or 2; New Testament 1 or 2;
  • Church History 1, 2, 3
  • Systematic Theology 1
  • Ethics 1
  • Liturgics 1.
• 7 elective Ascetical Theology courses (14-21 credits)
• 1 course not in Ascetical Theology (2-3 credits)
• thesis or project (3 credits).
