On Tuesday evening, July 10, 2012, General Seminary will hold a dinner for many in the seminary's wider community at The Columbia Club in Indianapolis. At the dinner, Associate Dean Patrick Malloy will present a Visioning Statement for the seminary's future. For more than a year, a team established by the the Rt. Rev. Mark S. Sisk, Bishop of New York and Chair of the GTS Board of Trustees, and led by Trustee William Clarkson IV worked tireless and collaboratively with trustees, faculty, seminary staff, students, and alumni/ae, to develop a new vision for General Seminary’s educational mission and its relationship with the wider church and the world. The GTS dinner will provide an opportunity for many in the wider community to contribute to the vision, before a process begins to develop a strategic plan for implementing the vision. The statement will be available online on July 11. Go to GTS News for updates.
