Last month, the Rev. Dr. Edwin Cromey, Class of 1962, commemorated the 50th Anniversary of his priestly ordination, as well as his graduation from GTS. A celebration was held at Fr. Cromey’s parish, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Beacon, New York. In honor of the occasion, his sons, Bob and Howard Courtemanche, endowed a commencement prize for liturgics in his name, and invited Dean Malloy to greet Fr. Cromey in the name of the Seminary and to announce the bequest: a surprise anniversary gift to him. Fr. Malloy was accompanied by the Rev. Susan Ironside (M.Div. '10) and the Rector of St. John on the Mountain in Bernardsville, NJ where Fr. Cromey was a former Interim Rector, and his son Bob is Senior Warden.
