The Rev. F. M. “Buddy” Stallings (Class of 1992) was installed on May 21 as Rector at St. Bartholomew's, New York City, after serving as Vicar from March 2008 to January 2012, then Priest-in-Charge until February 2013. Believing with all his heart that the world has never stood in greater need of transformation, Buddy dreams that the church–St. Bart’s and beyond–can be a conveyor of hope and peace. Also serving with Stallings are the Rev. Bruce Forbes (Class of 1961) and the Rev. Matthew Moretz (Class of 2006 and a current GTS Trustee).

Previously, Stallings served parishes in Jackson, MS, San Francisco, and Staten Island. In a former life, he was the Executive Vice President of the Waverly Group, a national firm which owned and operated nursing homes and retirement centers throughout the United States.
