Prospective Students to Visit GTS Feb 16-17 - Schedule

It's that time of the year again when students from near and far come to visit GTS as part of their discernment process. If you see new faces on campus be sure to say hello and welcome our guests. The admissions office has shared with us the schedule of the conference:

Sunday, February 16

3:30pm                        Conference Check-in (Lydia’s Community Lounge)

4:00 – 5:00pm             Welcome and Opening Session (21st St room) with Donna J Ashley,  The Very Rev. Kurt H Dunkle, Dean and President, Dr. Deirdre Good, Academic Dean

5:00 – 5:30pm             Chapel Welcome, Hershey Mallette, Chief Precenter

5:30 – 6:00pm             Evensong in Chapel

6:15- 7:30pm               Dinner with Continuing Students

7:45pm                                    Dessert with the Dean (Dean’s Residence in Moore Bldg., 1st floor)

Monday, February 17

8:00 – 8:30am             Breakfast (Lydia’s Community Lounge)

8:30 -   10:00               Class visits (students will select one of these two)

Presiding at the Liturgy (LT160) Dr. Patrick Malloy in Sherred 3A

Interpretation of the New Testament (NT2) Dr. Deirdre Good in Sherred 1B

10:00 – 11:00              Eucharist in Chapel

11:15am – 12:30         A Unique View of GTS (Tour) Meet in Lydia’s Community Lounge,  led by Danielle Thompson and Lauren Holder

12:30pm                      Lunch

1:30 – 3:00pm             A Discussion with a panel of Faculty (Close Room),  Moderated by Dr. Deirdre Good, Academic Dean and Professor of New Testament

3:00- 3:30pm               The Keller Library, Mary Robison, Reference Librarian

3:30 – 5:15pm             Interviews with faculty/ Apartment viewing/Meeting with Financial Aid (see separate sheets)

5:30pm                                    Evensong
