Are you interested in meeting regularly with a peer group to pray, uplift others, and be held accountable in your spiritual life?
Beginning this summer and continuing into the fall, small groups of about five people will meet weekly to offer peer spiritual support. These groups will not only help us to buttress our own spiritual lives, but also allow us to help support our classmates. Meeting regularly with a small group is an especially valuable practice to develop because we can continue these habits of seeking support and encouraging others long after we leave GTS.
Elise Hanley and Mark Anderson have been working to create these groups for a few months and , with Danielle Thompson’s support, a small group has been meeting weekly for about a month now. This group is helping refine a framework for this program and is excited by the endeavor. If you wish to participate in one of the small group this summer or fall, or if you have any questions, feel free to email one of them.
