The following message from the Community Council contains some exciting Easter news: Calling all students, staff & faculty, families, friends, and neighbors to volunteer for a special Easter event!
The General Theological Seminary Community will celebrate Easter with an Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 20, at 2pm on the Close. This event will begin on Saturday, April 19th with an egg assembly party (pizza, salad, and drinks provided) at 1pm in the Pintard Lounge where volunteers will assemble 700(!!) eggs for the many children who plan to be with us.
BUT WE CANNOT DO IT WITH OUT YOUR HELP. We need an appropriate number of adult volunteers for Sunday afternoon (at least fifteen), as well as some dedicated helpers on Saturday. So please assist us by offering to hide eggs and supervise youth on Sunday (approximately 2 hours) and/or to assemble and paint eggs (2-3 hours) Saturday afternoon. Please contact Tommie Watkins (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested and can help.
All members of the Seminary community--Children's Garden parents included--are invited to help, and are invited to the Egg Hunt!
The children will never forget you, and neither will we.
