The Rev. Colin Chapman (Class of 2012) has been called as Associate Rector, Christ & Holy Trinity Church, Westport, Connecticut. Since his graduation from General, Chapman has been serving as Curate at Christ’s Church, Rye, New York. Chapman co-founded The General Theological Seminary initiative “GTS Digital Formation” with the Rev. Joseph P. Peters-Mathews, also Class of 2012. The mission of GTS Digital Formation is to help clergy and lay leaders throughout The Episcopal Church appreciate the theological foundations and effectiveness of social media and digital technology for gospel proclamation and ministry.

In announcing Chapman’s call, Christ & Holy Trinity not only noted that “he is a wiz with technology,” but emphasized his “natural ability to work with young people,” noting that he will serve “in pastoral and liturgical leadership, and will be Chaplain to the Preschool, assisting with Newcomers and Welcoming, Youth, Children, and revamping our Communications."

Chapman and his wife, Christie, have two children, Jack and Natalie.
