The Rev. Canon Lee Alison Crawford (Class of 1993) stood for election as Bishop Diocesan of the Episcopal Anglican Church of El Salvador. While she came in second at the August 23 election in San Salvador, her candidacy was significant, as she was the first woman candidate for the episcopacy in the Province of the Anglican Church of the Region of Central America (the dioceses of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama). Crawford, who is Vicar of the Church of Our Saviour, Killington, Vermont, is pictured here with the other four candidates, the Primate of IARCA and Bishop Martin Barahona, who holds a D.D. from GTS (2012).
