Beyond the Close: Trinity Institute 2015

All members of the GTS community are invited to register for the upcoming Trinity Institute: Why is Economic Equality the topic? TI2015, hosted by Trinity Church Wall Street on January 22-24, 2015, focuses on economic inequality, an overwhelming issue in the U.S. A report by Pew Research Center found that U.S. income inequality has been increasing steadily since the 1970s, and now has reached levels not seen since 1928. Many Christians recognize that this situation goes against our deeply held values of social justice and the dignity of all persons. We worry that we are complicit in a system that we don’t know how to change. On a practical level, what is possible?

Speakers include The Most Rev. Justin Welby, Cornel West, and Barbara Ehrenreich. For more information, please see: http://www.TI2015.org.TI2015 features a sliding scale fee structure. Each NYC attendee may pay the full price of $500 (what it costs per person to provide TI2015) or a discounted rate of either $300 or $100 (Trinity Church will cover the rest) —whichever rate you can afford to pay. Full scholarships are also available.
