M. Dion Thompson ’07 Awarded Residency at Collegeville Institute

The Rev. M. Dion Thompson (Class of 2007) has been awarded a writing residency and pastoral fellowship for a project tentatively titled, Tending the Flock: A Prayerful Re-Imagining of 1st Peter for Parish Leaders. Thompson will take up the residency at the Collegeville Institute in Collegeville, Minnesota this fall. Thompson is currently Rector of Church of the Holy Covenant in Baltimore, Maryland. A former journalist, he recently received note for a commentary article, titled "Kiss and Get Out,” published in The Baltimore Sun, recalling his visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem during the Orthodox celebration of Good Friday. Click here to read the article.
