IN MEMORIAM: Thomas J. Brady '61

The Rev. Thomas J. Brady, Class of 1961, companion for more than 50 years of the late Rev. Sheldon B. Foote '49, died in August, 2015. Brady graduated from the University of Illinois before attending The General Theological Seminary. He was ordained to the Episcopal diaconate in June, 1961, and to the priesthood in December, 1961. Brady served as Curate of the Church of the Atonement, Chicago, from 1961-1963. He became Rector of St. Clement's, Harvey, Illinois in 1964, where he served until his retirement in 1994. Upon retirement, Brady became an assisting priest at the Church of the Atonement. Services were held August 27 at the Church of the Atonement.
