Women of General discusses Zion in Lamentations

The Women of General student group is hosting an interactive seminar for all students, staff, and faculty on the character of Zion in Lamentations. Rabbi Jo Hirschmann is leading the discussion next Friday November 20th from 3:00-4:30.

Rabbi Hirschmann is a professor at Hebrew Union College, a board certified chaplain and an ACPE supervisory candidate. A chaplain who has worked in hospice and psychiatric settings, she developed a new Clinical Pastoral Education program at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City. With Rabbi Nancy H. Wiener, she is co-author of Maps and Meaning: Levitical Models of Contemporary Care.

We also need volunteers to help with the event; mostly with set up and clean up of our delicious snacks.

Please email Shana Kaplanov at skaplanov@gts.edu if you are available. Any help is truly appreciated!
