A New Call for Erin Betz Shank '15

The Rev. Erin Betz Shank, Class of 2015, has been called as Vicar of Trinity Church, New Castle, Pennsylvania, as part of a period of intentional congregational development in the Diocese of Northwest Pennsylvania. Betz Shank was educated at Thiel College, Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and Boston University before attending The General Theological Seminary and being ordained into The Episcopal Church by Bishop Sean Rowe in February, 2015. She returns to her home diocese after serving as Assistant Rector at Middleham & St. Peter’s Episcopal Parish in California, Maryland.

Betz Shank is married to Methodist pastor, Jason Shank, an experienced church planter in the process of ordination in The Episcopal Church, who is engaged in the preparation of planting a new church in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
