The Rev. M. Dion Thompson, Class of 2007, has published a piece on praying with the Benedictine monks of the St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota. Thompson completed the piece while a short-term resident scholar at the Collegeville Institute in the fall of 2015. He also worked on an ongoing project tentatively titled, Tending the Flock: A Prayerful Reimagining of 1st Peter for Pastoral Leaders. The Collegeville Institute offers short-term and long-term residencies for those engaged in all forms of theological reflections. Priests, academics, and artists have benefitted from the program throughout the years. Thompson encourages everyone to “check out their website, come up with an idea, and get thee to Collegeville.”
