On March 22, 2016, the Most Rev. Michel B. Curry, Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church, visited The General Theological Seminary to preside over the Eucharist, preach, and meet with General Seminary students. After preaching a well-received—and exuberant—sermon at the Community Eucharist, Curry greeted worshippers with grace, joy, and generosity of time. He shook hands, rekindling old acquaintances while making new ones. The General Seminary community then gathered with Curry for their weekly Community Dinner and afterward met at the Dean's residence for a discussion with the Presiding Bishop.
