A New Call for Glenna Huber '01

The Rev. Glenna Huber, Class of 2001, is the new Interim Rector at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, College Park, Maryland. She has been a priest in the Diocese of Maryland since 2009. During this time her ministry has focused on issues unique to urban congregations and the surrounding neighborhoods. Huber has served as Vicar in three settings in Baltimore with a consistent ministry at the Church of the Holy Nativity, located in Lower Park Heights. Prior to joining the Diocese of Maryland, Huber served for eight years in the Diocese of Atlanta, her sponsoring diocese.

In an effort to continue to engage and act on systemic justice concerns, Huber serves on a variety of national, state, and local boards and commissions. These include the Episcopal Urban Caucus, the Maryland Truth and Reconciliation education sub-committee, and Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development, a IAF affiliate.

Huber earned her undergraduate degree at Spelman College in Atlanta before receiving her M.Div. at The General Theological Seminary.
