Update from Ronald Noone '83

The Rev. Dr. Ronald Noone (Class of 1983), a former tutor and visiting professor at The General Theological Seminary, has been the Interim Pastor at the Church of the Transfiguration in Manhattan for the past year. He returns home to the Diocese of Melbourne, Victoria in Australia in February, 2017. Noone has spent most of his ministry in educational settings, schools and universities with a stint as Rector in a parish in Geelong, Victoria. Noone has been an associate lecturer in Religious Education at the University of Divinity in Melbourne and has written on school chaplaincy in Opening Hearts and Minds: Reflections on School Chaplaincy (2015), which addresses the theological basis for chaplaincy and offers practical advice for chaplains and all interested in just how influential a religious person can be in a school.
