A New Call for Megan Castellan ‘08

The Rev. Megan Castellan, Class of 2008, has been called as the next rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Ithaca, New York. She has previously served in Virginia Beach, Flagstaff, and most recently as Associate Rector and Chaplain of the Day School at St. Paul’s, Kansas City, MO.

Her writing is widely read in such publications as Episcopal Café, Fidelia’s Sisters, The Toast, McSweeney’s, and her own blog: Red Shoes, Funny Shirt. She has also appeared in print alongside the  Presiding Bishop in his book Following the Way of Jesus and in the liturgical reference Planning for Rites and Rituals.
