The Rev. James Robertson, Class of 2012, has been called as the Interim Rector at St. Paul's Church, Bloomsburg, PA.
Bishop Audrey Scanlan ordained Robertson to the Priesthood in the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania on June 15 at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Harrisburg, PA. Jim completed interim ministry training in March and June, and two weeks before ordination, he received the call. He will serve until St. Paul's calls a new rector.
A new initiative is being rolled out at the diocesean convention in October called "Shaped by Faith." As we are aware in the Church, the old model of "one parish, one rector," is becoming no longer the norm. St. Paul's will be investigating the notion of two neighboring parishes sharing one priest and Robertson will help facilitate that transition.
Robertson previously served on staff at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in the Diocese of West Missouri from 2014 until the Spring of 2018.
