The Rev. Anna C. Noon, Class of 2010, walked 800 km of the Camino Frances from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela in the fall of 2021. During her walk, Noon discerned a call to minister to pilgrims on the Camino. Taking a leap of faith, she moved to Santiago de Compostela and began her ministry as Pilgrim Missioner for the Anglican Pilgrim Centre in Santiago on Easter Day 2022. Prior to embarking on this new journey, Noon served parishes in the Dioceses of Southern Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey.

Along with greeting and caring for pilgrims on the Camino, Noon presides at weekly Eucharists and other worship in Santa Susana Church, located in historic Alameda Park, steps from the Cathedral in Santiago. She works directly with Bishop Carlos Lòpez Lozano to develop the Anglican pilgrim support network throughout Spain and Portugal, and to coordinate pilgrim blessings at the cathedrals in Madrid and Lisbon. Arrangements for Anglican and other Protestant groups requesting worship space at Santa Susana are also handled through her office.
