Stuart E. Money, Class of 1979, of Jersey City, died on July 24, 2021, after a brief illness at the age of 84. Originally born and raised in Attleboro, MA, he attended Brown University before entering seminary. Money's career was in financial management, working first for Texas Instruments, then serving as the executive director of St. Luke in the Fields Church in Greenwich Village, and finally as the executive director of the Archdiocesan Investment Fund of the Episcopal Church of New York, from which he retired in 2007.

Money loved history, the origins of language, and all the arts, most especially classical music. He enjoyed traveling and had friends all around the globe, a testament to his ability to engage with people on virtually any topic of conversation.

Stuart leaves no immediate family, but is survived by a legion of friends who were his family of choice. He was as loyal and devoted a friend as anyone could hope to have, and he will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at Stuart's beloved St. Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson St., New York, with committal to the columbarium directly following. All are welcome; there are plans for a live stream as well. Donations may made be made to St. Luke's in Stuart's name.
