New Calls for Amy Chambers Cortright ʼ04 and Joe Chambers ʼ06

The Rev. Amy Chambers Cortright, Class of 2004, and her spouse the Rev. Joseph Chambers, Class of 2006, have been called to the Diocese of Lexington, where they will be welcomed in October, 2021. Cortright Chambers has been called as Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of Lexington. Chambers has been appointed rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Danville.

Cortright Chambers is a native of Washington, D.C., and has been serving on the diocesan staff of the Diocese of Texas as the Missioner for Congregational Vitality. Prior to her time in Texas, she served as rector of St. John’s in St. Louis, MO, and before that, as vicar at Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis. She is a graduate of General and Mount Holyoke College.

Chambers is a native of the St. Louis, MO area, and after seminary served as Chaplain of the University of Missouri, Columbia, followed by an appointment as Chaplain of Washington University, St. Louis. Most recently, he has served as Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of Missouri, and as Chief of Staff for the Diocese of Texas. They have a son, Day, and a daughter, Molly.
