Amanda Larson ’03 Joins CRCDS I.A. Team

Amanda Larson, Class of 2003, has joined the Institutional Advancement team at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School as Director of Development.

Larson was the founder of LarsonLane/ ALA Group, a consulting firm that enjoyed success with dozens of organizations nationwide, and she worked with and for organizations that include the Washington National Cathedral, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Lutheran Seminary at Philadelphia, Bangor Theological Seminary, Greater Portland Landmarks, The Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation, NHS Human Services, The Women’s Fund of Rhode Island, and The National Foundation for Women Business Owners.

Larson received her BA in Liberal Studies from Vermont College in Montpelier, Vermont, before an honors MA in Theology and Religious History from General. She is also a writer. The author of Healing From a Grandmother's Heart, her master’s thesis on Episcopal Bishop James A. Pike was acquired for the archives at Washington National Cathedral and her essays/articles have appeared in The Lutheran magazine, Episcopal Life, and Beliefnet.com.

In her role as Director of Development, Ms. Larson will be responsible for donor solicitations and drives for the annual fund, major donor cultivation, and planned giving.
