A New Call for Andrew Reinholz ’12

The Rev. Andrew Charles Reinholz, Class of 2012, has been called as the 17th rector of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Pitman, NJ.

Reinholz most recently was the rector at the Church of the Epiphany in Richmond, Virginia, where he had served since June 2016. He previously served as vicar at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, and on the staff of the Diocese of Bethlehem.

Reinholz is a graduate of Moravian College before attending General. He currently is enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at Sewanee.

His wife, Kim, is also an ordained Episcopal priest, and a General alumna, Class of 2013.

“I come in a unique time in the parish’s history; indeed, a unique time in the history of our nation and world,” noted Reinholz in a letter to the congregation posted on the church’s webpage. “COVID has been a dominant and disruptive force in all areas of our lives. It is clear to me that you have navigated these difficult waters with grace and composure. I hope to continue that.”
