The Rev. Thomas Remington Slone, Class of 2011, has been called as Rector of Christ Church, Roswell, GA. He has been serving at Christ Episcopal Church, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL since 2014, first as Associate Rector and more recently as Vice-Rector.

Slone grew up in southeast Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in History before graduating cum laude from General. While in seminary he served at St. Mary the Virgin in Times Square as both a lay person and as a Deacon. After seminary, he returned to the Diocese of Georgia as the Assistant Rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Savannah, Georgia. Remington and his wife, Casey, have two daughters and one son.
