The Rev. Alan Christopher Lee, Class of 2020, has been called as the next Priest-in-Charge at the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Chappaqua, NY. He has served the past two years at Grace Church in Brooklyn, NY, as Assistant to the Rector for Youth, Young Adult and Family Ministries.

During his time at General, where he was awarded the Church and Society Prize, Lee completed his field education at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity and St. Mary's in Brooklyn, and as a summer chaplain at St. John's Hospital in Far Rockaway, Queens. Before seminary, he worked as a musician, and as a journalist for the New York Times.

Chris, his wife Julie Bleha, and their two teenage sons will be joining the St. Mary's community in the first week of October.
