A New Book from Deborah Lee ’17

The Rev. Deborah A. Lee, Class of 2017 and a Spiritual Director at GTS, has a new book from WestBow Press: This Is Another Day: Reflections on Scripture, Faith, and Prayer for Action. The work is a collection of daily meditations crafted to be a companion on your spiritual journey. Written from the heart, these devotional reflections invite us into God's word in order for us to speak a shared language of love, inspiration, sustenance, and even challenge as we journey together into unknown seasons. Buoyed by the overwhelming grace of Christ, we are called by Jesus-whose resurrection transcends death and fear-to keep our hearts and minds set on hope, love, mercy, justice, thanksgiving, and reconciliation.

The book began as a series of daily reflections Lee began during video outreach ministry in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Lee realized that “even though the coronavirus kept us physically apart, our hearts could still be knit together in Spirit.”
