The Rev. Kathleen “Kit” Lonergan, Class of 2008, has been called to Trinity Church Boston, Copley Square as Priest for Welcome and Care. She has been serving Saint James-Groveland, Massachusetts as Priest-in-Charge and Rector for the last seven years.

Lonergan has previously served in a variety of ministry positions for Diocese of Massachusetts — as Director of Youth Ministries, Head Chaplain at the Barbara C. Harris Camp, Assistant Rector at Christ Church in Andover, and Chaplain at Esperanza Academy (Lawrence, MA). In her previous life she served as Assistant Chaplain, Sailing Coach and Religion Faculty at St George’s School (Newport, RI). She is an alumna of Tufts University (BA) and Harvard Divinity School (MDiv) before receiving her Anglican Diploma at General. She has also served as Dean of the Merrimack River Deanery and on the Board of the Church Home Society.
